Michael Connelly of Scripteasers of San Diego sent the following message for Guild members:
The “Script Tease of Short Plays” competition is one of the most important projects the organization undertakes each year. Not only are many of the plays they receive featured in their readings, but the competition brings new writers into the group. Nurturing the next generation of writers is what keeps Scripteasers strong and growing.
The deadline is July 1. Will you help us promote the competition?
Full guidelines: http://www.scripteasers.org/#!annual-competition/con8.
- Please forward the link to this message to colleagues and writing groups you work with. A flyer can be found here.
- Bring a supply of flyers to organizations and theaters you visit over the next month and ask if you may leave them and/or make an announcement.
- The words that catch everyone’s attention: “No entry fee. Cash prizes: $200, $150 and $100.”
Thank you for your assistance.
